The main thing is the ink needs to be completely dry before coloring. Another hint is to use the printer's "draft" setting instead of "best." If you are getting a new printer, I really like my Epson Artisan. Check out the link "Watercoloring Digital Images by Mina" on the sidebar of this page to read her technique for keeping ink from smearing. xoMoMo Manninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14282458244833366952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936091177827950677.post-49148838495514568592014-09-05T12:16:24.185-07:002014-09-05T12:16:24.185-07:00I see this post is a couple years old. You can bring your jpg into the word processing software which came with your Mac (Pages) and resize, flip and print -- or you can use a purchased software program like MS Word or graphics software like Photoshop Elements. :) xoMoMo Manninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14282458244833366952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936091177827950677.post-60752451103281490282014-01-10T22:46:00.068-08:002014-01-10T22:46:00.068-08:00Hi Mo, I order my first ever digis and I love them...Hi Mo, I order my first ever digis and I love them. Zip!!! (That was me getting to the grocery store)<br /><br />I do "have" copics -- and use them when I actually make a card (though I don't have much time to do that.) But for my shop samples I just shrink the image to 350 pixels high and quickly block in the color with digital watercolor so I'm not much of a help there! Your idea of keeping the binder with color samples is so smart! xoMoMo Manninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14282458244833366952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936091177827950677.post-7397069662144455562012-07-10T05:26:20.770-07:002012-07-10T05:26:20.770-07:00Good Morning Mo. Anyway-Since I am recovering from surgery, I've been working on coloring some of your wonderful images. I would love to know if you use Copics to color with and, if so, would it be possible to maybe include a color list with your colored images? I really like that and it's a huge help. Often I print 4 images to a sheet-one of which is the colored image so I have something to go by---and then 3 to color. Keep them all in a 3-ring binder so they are ready to go when I am!
